Winter Carnival Time

All right guys, I'm currently out of school for a thing called Winter Carnival. There's all sorts of things that go on during this, but the biggest and most interesting is the snow statue contest. So this posting is mainly just going to be me showcasing some of the statues from this year and last. Hope you guys enjoy.

And finally; Why don't you take a seat over there?

Unfortunately, I couldn't find pictures of some of the best ones I've seen, but I hope you enjoyed the ones I did post. As always, let me know what you think in the comments!

  3. I didn't, but I'm definitely thinking about it for the future. It's a lot of work, but the stuff they make is really neat. Would be a bit of a reminisce to when I was younger, building snow forts and stuff.

  6. last photo needs chris hanson making a hand gesture. snow sculptures are fun to make, but you need multiple gloves/people.

  9. Very cool. I've seen some others before way back. Where are you from Erasmus? I have a friend in Switzerland that has told me a lot about what they have called "Carnival". Was wondering if it's the same thing lol. Following!

  11. Last year at college people built this giant sculpture out of snow and me and a friend went out and spent an hour at night demolishing it. FeelsGoodMan.jpg

  16. Snow and ice sculptures always amaze me - the artist's fingers must be numb by the time he's finished and even then, he knows his creation is doomed lol

I love that your town is together enough to do something like this... Mine is full of anomie and fail. And now I have nobody to sled with... :(
